The hosting company we wished existed when we were running our own apps.
VPSoto is a small infrastructure-operator team. Most of us spent the last decade running production servers for SaaS startups, agencies, and trading desks — paying DigitalOcean, Linode, Vultr, AWS, and three or four boutique European hosts on the way. Every one of those hosts did at least one thing well, and at least one thing that frustrated us.
DigitalOcean's entry tier got expensive. Linode joined Akamai and stopped cutting prices. AWS billed in USD with surprise egress charges. Card issuers in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia padded FX rates by 4–5%. None of them had a server in Karachi or Dhaka — the cities where customers we'd been building for actually lived. The gap was obvious: somebody needed to aggregate the regional providers, bill in real local currencies, and accept crypto for the people whose situation doesn't fit a US credit card.
That's VPSoto. We work directly with 19 infrastructure providers across NA, EU, MENA, South Asia, Africa, and APAC. We pay them wholesale; you pay us retail; the difference funds the engineers who answer your support tickets. We don't have a sales team. We don't have a marketing department. We have operators and a checkout that works.
What we believe
Wholesale prices, transparently
We pay 19 infrastructure suppliers wholesale and pass through real prices. The reason a 1 vCPU NVMe VPS at $3.80/mo is actual NVMe and not an overcommitted shared box is: we don't run our own datacenter overhead. Smaller margins, better hardware.
The cities other clouds skip
DigitalOcean has 14 cities. Linode has 30. Vultr has 32. None of them have Karachi, Dhaka, Tirana, Auckland, or Bahrain. We do — because we work with the regional providers who already operate there.
Pay in your currency, not theirs
Customers in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, the UK, and the EU pay in PKR, SAR, GBP, and EUR — at our rates, not your card issuer's FX-padded rate. Pay by Bitcoin or USDT if a card is the wrong tool for your situation.
Honest about what we ship
We don't pretend to have managed Postgres, managed Kubernetes, or 1-click WordPress. We ship great compute, great network, real humans on tickets, and we'll tell you when DigitalOcean or Linode is the right call.
Operators, not salespeople
Our team has run production infrastructure for years. Every ticket is read by someone who knows what `journalctl -u nginx` means. We don't have a sales department; we have engineers who answer.
Encrypted credentials by default
Server passwords are sealed with libsodium and decrypted server-side only when you click 'reveal'. Every reveal is logged with IP and user-agent. We're operators, not data-leakers.
